Vasilopita is the traditional New Year's Day bread in Greece, which contains a hidden 10 cent coin (included in each loaf) which gives good luck to the receiver. This particular vasilopita is sweet bread and contains 8 - 2 oz servings. It is made fresh daily at Hellas Bakery in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Happy 2022!

I ordered this after I got home from a Christmas vacation, not knowing if it would even arrive in time for New Years. It did!! I served it at New Years Dinner it was the best Vasilopita we ever had, so light and SO good and such a beautiful centrrpiece, I also ordered the “gold” coin to put inside the bread and our oldest grandson bit into it! It was such a lovely dinner and the Vasilopita was the cherry on top. Thank you all so much for getting it here on time
