Mountain Tea is very popular in Greece and used most often in winter when levels of physical activity decrease and colds, aches, and pains increase. It is said to have a positive effect on almost anything that ails but, most notably, it is used for colds, respiratory problems, digestion, the immune system, mild anxiety, and as an anti-oxidant. It is also used as an anti-inflammatory and to reduce fever.

This herbal tea is awesome. It has a pleasant mild sage-like taste that is light and interesting, not bitter or sweet. You can add Greek honey if you choose but I like without any sweetener.

My son & I drink To tsai vonou almost nightly before bed. I believe it helps him sleep better and relieves his ADHD considering the flower has a calming affect and zero caffeine. I recently introduced fresh chopped bits of ginger root and my son likes it even more. I’ve been ordering Greek Mountain Tea from here for over a year now and very happy with Greek Market. No complaints!

This product is excellent. I drink it when I have the flu, fever, upset stomach or I feel fatigued. Just one cup from the leaves of two sprigs boiled in water does magic!I am a Greek of the diaspora and first tasted this elixir tea in Lesvos. It has always cured me of any ailment.Thanks!

This tea was slightly different from the previous I had bought, darker color and gave me the impression it was a little older. It had a different label as well the previous purchased. It is mountain tea thought no matter the brand and we love it. Thank you for the fast delivery.
