Excellent traditional Greek fruit preserve purchased from the Greekmarket.com vendor. Delivery was prompt and products ordered arrived excellently packaged. Taste is similar to the one purchased from the island of Chios. It tastes great as a topping to Greek home made yogurt, as a spread or traditionally served on a spoon with Greek coffee.

These are as close to my grandmother's rose petal preserves that I've ever had. She had a "very special" rose bush in her Athens backyard. She would go out at dusk to pick half a bushel of rose petals, bring them in layer them singly on tea towels all over the kitchen. Next morning, the magic began. The aroma of those petals cooking are one of my fondest childhood memories . . . well, after enjoying the preserves on her homemade bread.

I am from Europe (Poland) adore kind of product like that. My favorite is from rose and fig. Unfortunately You don't have from fig but from rose petals I never ate like that...so delicious. I will keep a contact with this greek's company. Thank so much!
