I have sensitive skin. Most soaps make me itch beyond measure.
I took a gamble based off the reviews and was not disappointed. This soap works well, but more importantly does not irritate my skin!
Remember: it's olive soap. So it smells like olives. The smell is not overpowering. However, some may find it off-putting.
The 250 gram bars are about twice the size of a bar you would buy in a traditional store in the US. Next time, I will buy the 100 gram bars.
Overall, this was one of the best purchases I made while in quarantine.

I love this soap. I'm from New York City and I can find this soap in any Greek or Middle Eastern market. I use it all the time. I moved to Charlotte, NC a few months ago and couldn't find it anywhere. So, I looked online and here it is! I was so excited . I got 48 bars so I would have it around and I love it. I will continue to purchase from Greek Market as they have a lot of other things I love as well. Thank you Greek Market, for being, and for stocking my favorites.

I use to purchase this at an International market in Seattle but after I moved out of state it was hard to find. I was so happy to find it on Greek Market. Easy to order and delivered in a timely fashion, well packaged. Smells great too! Great product!

I just received my second order of Papoutsanis Traditional Olive Oil Soap. The soap is very moisturizing on rough, dry skin. It even helps to soothe itching caused by hives. Online ordering is easy, and shipping is quick. Highly recommend!

Like so many others I was devastated to find that none of my regular sources carried KMF soap anymore. My wife and I have been using it for 25+ years and nothing else felt the same. I would usually stock up during sales so I came late to learning that that KMF is no longer with us. The only bars of soap I could find were the small size or single bars on Eb and Amaz for $30 apiece. I almost bought some. But this soap was mentioned in a forum so I bought a case. Yes! It's the same soap. It smells the same, feels the same, cleans and refreshes the same. I wish I'd heard about it sooner!About the initial smell—yes, the first bar I opened smelled slightly of ashes. I count this as a good thing. I suspect it smells that way because they're sourcing the lye from wood ash—possibly even making it themselves! Lye and olive oil mixed together in the proper proportion saponify into soap. That's all you need. Less ingredients, in this case, means more pure. And after a couple uses the smell mellowed into what you're used to from a bar that sat in a paper wrapper in a health food store for a couple months.Thank you thank you thank you Greek Market!

I fell in love with olive oil soap on a trip to Greece. When I arrived home I searched for a source to buy it on line and Greek Market was by far the best. I ordered a case of this soap at a great price. My only regret is buying the 250 gr bars instead of the 125 gr bars. The 250 gr bars are HUGE and difficult to hang on to if you have smaller hands. Otherwise fantastic soap that smells fresh and clean and leaves my skin very soft.

I love this soap. I searched and searched for an olive oil soap like the ones I bought in Greece, but they all had added ingredients. This soap has simple ingredients and no added fragrances. I always order a case. The last case lasted a little over a year. My husband and I both used it.

I started using this soap when I became chemically sensitive. It is almost impossible to find fragrance free bar soap. The Greek Market confirmed this olive oil is from pressing NOT from solvents. I use it at all my sinks, in the bath and have even washed my long hair with it-followed by a vinegar rinse--my brother and sister also now use it and I have friends that have switched to this also. I buy a case of the large 250 gram bars
