Our Greek fisherman's caps are fitted and not adjustable, so use our head sizing chart below to determine the correct hat size.
Hat Sizing and How to Measure your Head
To calculate your metric (European) cap size a measurement of the head circumference should be taken in centimeters. This is best achieved by passing a cloth tape measure around the head. Alternatively a piece of string may be used and measured against a ruler or tape measure. Take a measuring tape or piece of string and place it around the circumference of the head, slightly above the ears.

I've worn these hats for years, cotton for summer, wool for winter, because they don't fly off in the wind, keep my otherwise bald head warm and protected from the sun, and because I don't have to endure the indignity of other hats on my very large head. Even though these hats can cause a double-take or a comment. I buy them too large, since they reliably shrink in the weather.
I've found them over the years in hat shops (disappearing breed) at wildly variable prices and am happy to have found a source with fair prices and prompt service.
