Livani is a traditional incense often used in religious ceremonies.
How To Burn Incense:
1) Place a piece of charcoal in an incense burner with the side of the incense that has an indention facing up so it can hold the incense.
2) Light the charcoal and let it burn for about 30 seconds.
3) Place one or more rocks of incense on top of the charcoal.

This is the traditional Livani used in many Orthodox households. It smells just like the Livani of your youth when your YiaYia would burn it in front of the Holy Icon.

I was happy to find original Livani with the scent used in Church. I know rose-scented Livani is also sold, but I like the original scent.
