I bought this vase for my wife for Christmas in anticipation of bringing up the possibility of doing a trip to Greece this summer. Wasn't sure about buying something of this sort based on a picture online,but could not find anything locally. I was not disappointed. My wife's reaction was "Oh, it's beautiful." It looks very much like a vase that I saw in a documentary of ancient Greece. The coloring and detail is exquisite. It was packed so well that eggs would have made the trip. There were no deflects, flaws, chips, etc. Whoever painted this vase is a true artist.Now all I have to worry about is the trip to Greece this summer.
