Greek Boiled Fish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. fish (1 big or 2-3 small fish)
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1-2 lemons
  • 1 1/2 lb potatoes (small round)
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2-3 carrots sliced
  • 2-3 stalks celery
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Clean potatoes and cut onions, carrots, and celery and place in a wide saucepan. Add oil and 1 cup water and let boil in slow heat.

Meanwhile, clean fish and cut into pieces. Salt and pepper fish to taste. When potatoes are almost ready place on top of fish in cooking pan adding the lemon juice.

Cover and let it boil for 15-20 minutes.
