Greek Chicken with Orzo Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds frying chicken cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup Orzo
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated

Preparation

In a large skillet melt butter, add onion, and cook slowly until soft. Add chicken and brown. Add water and boil. Add orzo, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 30 minutes on low heat until chicken is tender and water is absorbed. Sprinkle with cheese.
