Chicken with Orzo Recipe


1 stick butter

½ cup minced onion

4 pounds frying chicken cut into pieces

2 cups water

1 cup orzo

Sea Salt 


½ cup Romano cheese, grated


In a large skillet melt butter, add onion, and cook slowly until soft.  Add chicken and brown.  Add water and boil.  Add orzo, salt, and pepper.  Simmer for 30 minutes on low heat until chicken is tender and water is absorbed.   Sprinkle with cheese.
