What is the difference between kourabiedes and melomakarona?
Kourabiedes are buttery almond shortbread cookies dusted with powdered sugar. Melomakarona are spiced honey cookies soaked in syrup and topped with walnuts. Both are Greek Christmas classics.
What is a vasilopita?
Vasilopita is the Greek New Year's cake, baked with a hidden coin. Whoever finds the coin in their slice is said to have good luck all year. We also sell vasilopita coins.
