Tiropita Recipe



1 lb fillo dough

1 lb feta cheese crumbled

6 eggs

2 cups milk

½ cup olive oil

3 sticks unsalted butter


In an 11*14 in glass Pyrex pan, add 3-4 fillo leaves, brushing each with olive oil.  Place 1/3 of feta cheese on leaves and top again with 3-4 fillo leaves brushing each with olive oil.  Add 1/3 of feta cheese on top and top with 3-4 fillo leaves brushing each with olive oil.  Add the last 1/3 of the feta cheese and top with the remaining fillo leaves, brushing each leave with olive oil.  Cut Tiropita in squares.  For the top mix the 6 eggs slightly with milk and pour it on top of fillo.  Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
