Please note: We will receive our shipment of Vasilopita the 19th of December and will start shipping Vasilopita as soon as we receive them. Vasilopita is a seasonal product generally available in mid-December of each year until New Year's Day.

Vasilopita is the traditional New Year's Day bread in Greece, which contains a hidden dime (included in each loaf) that gives good luck to the receiver. This particular vasilopita is sweet bread and contains 8 - 2 oz servings. It is made fresh daily at Hellas Bakery in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

The two letters at the top of the bread are for the abbreviation of the phrase "Χρόνια πολλά", or in English, "Chronia Polla," which translates to "Many Years."

GreekMarket.com delivers authentic Greek food and merchandise to any valid address in the world. You can calculate shipping costs by placing the desired items in your shopping basket, then entering your State or Providence, Zip/Postal Code and Country. If you do not see your country in the list, please Contact Us to complete your order.

When ordering, all you need to do is fill your basket with items and check out. There is no minimum order amount. You will need to tell us where to ship your order and what credit card payment method you want to use. Our shipping rates are based on the weight of your items and your shipping address.

You can choose to have your items delivered with 5 options:
- USPS Priority Mail: When available, this ground shipping option takes 2-3 business days, depending on the proximity of the shipping address to our Orlando, Florida warehouse
- FedEx Home Delivery: When available, this ground shipping option takes 2-6 business days, depending on the proximity of the shipping address to our Orlando, Florida warehouse

FedEx Home Delivery - Approximate Delivery Days

- UPS Ground: When available, this ground shipping option takes 2-6 business days, depending on the proximity of the shipping address to our Orlando, Florida warehouse
- FedEx 2Day: When available, this expedited shipping option takes 2 business days

Please note that UPS and FedEx do not deliver on weekends. All Expedited orders placed before 8 AM Eastern Standard Time will be shipped the same business day. All FedEx Standard Overnight orders will arrive the next business day after being shipped. FedEx 2Day orders will arrive 2 business days after being shipped. All orders placed after 8 AM Eastern Standard Time will be shipped the next business day.

ORDERS OUTSIDE THE US

GreekMarket.com uses USPS and partner mail carriers to deliver anywhere in the world.

International shipping can have up to 3 options:
- USPS First Class International: Only available for small packages under 4 pounds and certain global locations. Delivery varies, but typically takes less than 15 business days. Not recommended if you must receive the package within 10 business days.
- USPS Priority Mail International: Available for some global locations. Delivery takes 6-10 business days.
- USPS Express Mail International: Available for all global destinations. Delivery takes about 5 business days. Package is trackable. Express Mail International is the recommended shipping method because it is the most reliable method.

Please contact us if you have any questions or issues with placing an international order. We ship everywhere, but sometimes our shipping software is unable to calculate shipping rates and will display "Unable To Shipping Rates". We can assist you in case you have any issues with placing your order.

Delivery outside the US may be delayed due to customs, and customs duties may be due upon receipt of your package. Please check with your local customs office for information on duties. Greek Market is not responsible for paying duties for shipments outside the US.

Perishables

All orders with at least one perishable item will incur a charge of $12.95 for the cooler and ice packs used to ensure the perishables are delivered cold. If multiple perishable items are purchased, only 1 charge of $12.95 will be included.

Lost And Damaged Packages

Please note that Greek Market is not responsible for most damaged packages and all lost packages. If your package arrives damaged or is lost, please contact us so we can assist with the investigation into the package. In most cases, lost packages will require that an investigation is initiated by the person who was supposed to receive the package.

Return Policy

General Returns

Returns are subject to approval after contacting the GreekMarket.com customer service department by Contacting Us. RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED MORE THAN 30 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PURCHASE AND WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL BY OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE . We will send you instructions on where and how to return your purchase for a refund of it's purchase price. Please note that returns that do not include a Return Authorization Number on the Address Label will be refused. Returns should be sent to:

Shipping costs are not refundable except for defective items or items sent in error. Defective items will be exchanged for the same items. Defective returns that are found to be non-defective are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Defective merchandise will be replaced at our discretion. There are NO RETURNS on opened Food items.

Shipping, insurance, and handling charges are not refundable. Returns should be shipped insured, as GreekMarket.com assumes no liability for lost or damaged return shipments. We ordered 30 Vasilopites for an event we had for our greek school. The price was great and we had compliments on their smell and taste! The corner was very patient with my texting to ask whether they would arrive on time. They shopped out late on a Tuesday and sure enough they arrived Friday around noon. That was the day he told me they would arrive and yes I was nervous but he was right! Our event was the following day and thanks to these beautiful Vasilopites on each table, we had a great event.
