Flokati Rug - 3000 g/m2 - 5' x 7'

The luxurious quality of this rug is beyond what I had hoped for at this price point. I was replacing a 30 year old Flokati from my daughter's nursery as a 30th birthday present. This rug will last her another 50 years. Greek Market made certain that I received it on time. Thank you, thank you!!

I was expecting to like my flokati, but I am truly thrilled with the quality of the rug. I purchased the medium thickness, and it is very, very thick; the wool is soft and a bright, slightly off white (like wool, of course!). I'm using it in a bedroom and my guests love the feel underfoot. It really warms up our rather cold-looking midcentury modern room. I don't think it would be a great rug for dogs to sleep on although the rugs wash well at home in the smaller sizes (unlike sheepskin rugs). Children love to sprawl out on the rug. You do need a pad underneath because the rug is slippery. Above all, the rugs are a great value.

Very happy with our rug! When the exact rug was not available immediately I was upgraded. I also asked for the delivery to be on a certain date because of my schedule and they complied perfectly.

I am very impressed with my Flokati Rug. I have had one for well over 30 years, it is a 1000 or 2000 g/m 5' x 7' and it has worn so very well. A couple of years ago, my 24 year old cat threw up on it, and I was away at the time so by the time I returned it was quite a mess.I wrestled with how to clean it, so decided I would take it to the laundromat and take my chances. I used woollite detergent cold water and did not allow it to extract or spin.I then took it home and hung it carefully on my 6 foot high fence and waited to see if I had totally destroyed it. It turned out beautiful and I continue to receive compliments.When I decided to go for another, i had no clue how to find one, so one day I decided to do "the search" which brought me to the Greek Internet Market.The service was wonderful and when they told me the date it would be delivered they were 100% correct. It is on my living room floor with one end of it covered with a sheet and a blanket. My golden retriever has claimed it for her space. Remember for those who decide to try my trick of cleaning. It is 100% wool.Thank you again.
